The Christmas season has passed, and I can't wait for next December for my 13th month pay, LOL!! Well sadly, I was not able to set aside much from my bonus, had so many bills and debts to pay, but with fingers crossed, I hope this year would be a better one for me in the financial aspect of things. Anyway, I just wanted to backtrack a bit and go back to what we gave the kids for Christmas. Hubby and I wanted to give them something that they wanted and would really enjoy. So we decided to give Andre a Lego castle and a Baby Alive doll for Micah. It was fun watching them eagerly opening their gifts, and the squeals of delight as they started playing with their new toys.
Since my kids spent Christmas with my parents, we had a web conference on Christmas eve, and I watched them opening up their gifts and showing me every present they got. A Hotwheels and Barbie from mama and papa, a Ben 10 cap, Bakugan toy and Dora bag from Uncle Cocoy, a beautiful dress, toy cars, towel and spy gadget from Ninang Sandee, Apple and Rizza. They also got art materials from tatay and nanay and some stuff toys. It was a memorable Christmas for every one. My first Christmas spent away from the kids, but thanks to technology I was able to spend it with them via web-cam :) Part of my New Year's resolution is to do early Christmas shopping and watch out for sales this year, so that by next Christmas I would be able to give gifts to my inaanak on time, hahaha!!
